The Two Crabs recently took a way-too-short trip to Bali, Indonesia. Compared to most places where we vacation, Bali was dirt cheap. A full dinner for two, with 2 (ok, 3) drinks averaged about $20.  The Crabs stayed in Seminyak beach, with a trip to Ubud - the capital of Balinese culture.

Bali is a 6-hour, non-stop direct flight from Seoul...a bit far for a weekend trip, but still closer than from Washington DC!  For US citizens and most Europeans & Australians, you can get a visa on arrival ($25)...plus a $25 exit fee upon departure. The $1.50 Bintang beers, cheap food, taxis and accommodations will more than make up for the airfare and visa costs!
