Super Bowl XLII in London

Where to watch the Super Bowl in London
Yes, you CAN watch the Super Bowl live in London on Feb. 3, 2008. Below is a list of known London venues that will be airing the Super Bowl LIVE.

AT HOME
BBC2:  The Super Bowl this year will air live on BBC2!  This is fantastic news after last year's train wreck of a telecast on FiveUS, with Miami Vice star Don Johnson as commentator!  The downside of watching the game overseas is you will not be able to watch the US commercials. The BBC’s coverage begins on Thursday January 31st at 11:20pm on BBC2, when Mike Carlson and former Pro Bowler Rod Woodson will join host Jake Humphries to preview the big game. Tune in to see how both teams made it to the Super Bowl, and get reaction from NFL experts Carlson and Woodson on what they expect to see when the action begins on Sunday. BBC’s live coverage of the main event starts at 10:50pm on Sunday night, with the same trio in the booth and the live action on the field called by Dick Stockton and Sterling Sharpe.

SKY: Sky’s coverage will kick-off at 8pm on Sunday evening with back-to-back showings of the award-winning series America’s Game, before attention turns to Arizona. Kevin Cadle will host in the studio in the UK, where he will be joined by college football coach Jeff Reinebold and the only Brit to have ever won a Super Bowl ring – former Patriots wide receiver Scott McCready. Joining them from Arizona will be Nick Halling and ex-Chicago Bears safety Shaun Gayle. Once the game gets underway Sky will have the FOX commentary team of Troy Aikman and Joe Buck calling the game. For the second year in a row Sky HD customers can see the whole event live in High Definition, getting the best possible view of this incredible occasion on Sky Sports HD 1.
