Democrats Abroad Global Primary in London: 5 Feb 2008 (Super Tuesday)

Democrats Abroad held its first-ever “Global Primary” at nearly three dozen cities around the world this week, allowing American expats to vote in-person for their party’s presidential candidate. As a voting block, Democrats Abroad has been awarded 22 delegates to the 2008 Democratic National Convention to represent the estimated 6 million Americans living abroad. There is also a Republicans Abroad club but it is not an official GOP body and thus does not send delegates to their party’s convention.
